Atletico Madrid manager, Diego Simeone has given right-back, Kieran Trippier the decision about his future at the club.
The 51-year-old coach declared that the former Tottenham Hotspurs’ future lies in his (Trippier’s) own hands.
The former Sevilla boss gave the 31-year-old the discretion following a formal bid from Newcastle United.

Simeone’s statement on Sky Sports news reads: “Kieran Trippier now has to decide if he wants to leave or not. We will move on his decision.”
Trippier, who has also enchanted Chelsea will become the highest paid player should he eventually joins the Magpies.
Newcastle head coach, Eddie Howe wishes to make Trippier the first signing of his team and the new owners’ tenure as they plot Premier League survival.
