Late Flying Officer and first female combat helicopter pilot of the Nigerian Air Force, Tolulope Arotile, is to be buried on Thursday, July 23.

The Nigeria Air Force (NAF), had two days earlier announced Arotile’s death. She was reported to have died after sustaining severe head injuries from a vehicle accident at NAF’s Base in Kaduna.

Arotile who died untimely at the age of 24, a native of Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi state, will be laid to rest with full military honours at the National Military Cemetery in Abuja.
