Paris Saint-Germain narrowly defeated Girona 1-0 in their UEFA Champions League match on Wednesday night, thanks to a stroke of luck in the dying minutes.

Despite dominating possession and creating chances, PSG struggled to score until Nuno Mendes’ low cross was inadvertently knocked into the net by Girona goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga.

In other Champions League action, Borussia Dortmund secured a 3-0 win over Club Brugge, with Jamie Gittens scoring twice and Serhou Guirassy adding a penalty.

Manchester City and Inter Milan played out a goalless draw at the Etihad. Meanwhile, Celtic delivered a stunning performance, thrashing Slovan Bratislava 5-1, marking their largest ever victory in the competition.
