Leeds United has decided to “part ways” with manager Marcelo Bielsa after a dreadful run that has left them just three points above the relegation zone.
“Leeds United can today confirm that the club has parted ways with head coach Marcelo Bielsa,” the club said in a statement.
In restoring Leeds to the Premier League two seasons ago, Bielsa succeeded where many previous managers failed.

“This has been the most difficult decision I have had to make during my tenure at Leeds United, given Marcelo’s success at the club,” said club chairman Andrea Radrizzani.
