Leicester City is confident they can convince Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi to sign a new contract.
Wilfred Ndidi previous contract with the Foxes expired at the end of last month, and he has attracted interest from clubs both in England and abroad.
According to the Telegraph, talks between Ndidi and Leicester are ongoing, and the club is optimistic about reaching an agreement.
The 27-year-old joined Leicester from Belgian Pro League side KRC Genk in January 2017.
Since then, he has been a key player for the club, winning the FA Cup in the 2020/21 season and playing a crucial role in their promotion to the Premier League last season.
