Nigerians have reacted to a letter going viral in which presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi Wrote, rejected some ‘benefits’ during his reign as governor of Anambra state in 2007.

In the letter making rounds on social media, Peter Obi rejected some lands allocated to him as a governor at that time by the Anambra State Housing Development Corporation.

Rejecting the offers, Peter Obi clearly stated that it is wrong for him to benefit from the allocation.

He added that he was elected to serve his people and believes he has to distance himself from the undue privileges of the office
