Comrade James emphasized that a thorough research around the Warri South West Council has revealed that Hon Tuoyo has persistently maltreated both the Ijaws and Itsekiris in his reign.

Secretary General of the Ogbe-ijoh Youth Council, David Company further reiterated his President’s stance, insisting that Touyo can never be accepted and voted in for a second time.

He stated that while they are not against candidates from the Itsekiris, Hon Tuoyo will never be allowed to be at the helm of affairs of the Local Government Area for a second tenure.

They pleaded with the Peoples Democratic Party to be attentive to the plight of the youths by projecting a fresh reliable, Godfearing, youths loving and unity building candidate, and not Hon. Taiye Tuoyo that has completely destroyed the beauty of the LGA.

They however swore to fight the candidature of Hon Tuoyo if the PDP imposes his second term ambition on the people.

Hon Taiye Tuoyo has long been dragged by constituents in Warri South West Local Government Area with some quarters calling for his resignation at some point.
