Milutin Sredojevic

The Libya Football Federation (LFF) has terminated the contract of Serbian coach Milutin Sredojevic. This decision comes after Libya’s disappointing performance in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Libya’s team has had a poor start to the qualifiers, currently sitting at the bottom of Group D. They have managed to secure only one point from their first two games.

In their opening match, Libya was held to a 1-1 draw by Rwanda. Their subsequent game ended in a 2-1 loss to Benin Republic, further compounding their struggles.

According to the Libya Observer, Milutin Sredojevic dismissal is attributed to his failure to assemble a strong and competitive team.

Libya’s upcoming fixtures include facing the Super Eagles of Nigeria in a double-header. They will first travel to Uyo for the match, followed by the return fixture in Tripoli.
