Lightning Strike Kills IMSU Student | Daily Report Nigeria

A young first-year student of the Imo Etat University, Owerri (IMSU) has died on the spot after being struck by lightning.
The girl, Chiamaka Obodo, 20 was reported to have been making a call with her phone inside her parents’ house at Obilubi Obazu Mbieri in Mbaitoli LGA, Imo State, when lightning struck.

She died on the spot before help could get to her.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at the nearest morgue.
She will be laid to rest on Friday, June 17, 2022.
