Inter Miami captain Lionel Messi recently shared his favorite and most important goals from his career.

Messi, who has scored over 800 goals for club and country, spoke with ESPN Argentina journalist Martin Arevalo about his choices.

He named one of his two goals against Real Madrid in the 2011 Champions League semi-final first leg as his favorite. He also highlighted his second goal against France in the 2022 FIFA World Cup final as the most important of his career.

“My favorite goal? The most beautiful is the one against Real Madrid in 2011, and the most important is the World Cup final,” said the Argentina captain.

Messi has previously played for Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.
