Inter Miami head coach Gerardo Martino couldn’t help but praise Messi’s incredible performance, calling it a historic moment for MLS.
“All the goals were crucial, but Leo did something historic tonight with five assists and one goal,” Martino said in his post-match interview.
He continued, “But I can’t overlook Suarez’s three goals and Rojas’ two goals. The first Rojas goal was spectacular.”
“But for the technical brilliance of Leo’s assist, my favorite would be Luis Suárez’s scissor goal,” Martino added.
