Voting results so far disclosed in in some wards in the ongoing All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries elections in Edo state indicates that the former Secretary to the Edo State Government (SSG), Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu is enjoying an early lead.

In Igieduma ward/Uhunmwonde LGA where there are 1568 accredited voters, the former SSG took home a whooping 1560, as his other two opponents shared just 8 voters among themselves.

Ize-Iyamu also scored a total of 198 votes in Ward 9/Oredo, Edo South out of 200 accredited voters, with scoring Odubu 0 vote and Obazee registering 2 votes.

Also, in Ward 7/Etsako West, in Edo North, the former SSG recorded 784 votes from a total 808 accredited voters, while Odubu scored 24 and Obazee recorded 0 votes.

And in Ward 3/Egor, in Edo South, Ize-Iyamu scored 175 votes from a total of 195 accredited party members, while Odubu recorded 15 as Obazee managed to take home 5 votes.
