Liverpool have pulled off a surprising move by securing a deal for Stuttgart midfielder Wataru Endo, as they were unsuccessful in acquiring Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia, who both ended up at Chelsea.

The Reds have reached an unexpected agreement with Stuttgart’s Wataru Endo, who is now poised to undergo a medical examination before making a £16 million ($21 million) switch.

Amidst the departure of experienced midfielders Jordan Henderson and Fabinho earlier in this transfer window, Jurgen Klopp’s team is bolstering their midfield options with the addition of Endo.
