Local Government Chairman Slumps, Dies After Three Months in Office | Daily Report Nigeria

The people of Akwanga Local Government Area of Nasarawa State were greeted with the demise of their newly sworn in Chairman.
This happened whilst he was in a meeting with his council members on Monday, January 10th at the council Secretariat.
Daily Reports Nigeria gathered that while the meeting was ongoing, the Chairman slumped and although he was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Abuja where he received treatment, he still couldn’t make it as he breathed his last on Thursday, January 13.
“I LOST MY ELDER BROTHER (HON EMMANUEL JOSEPH LEWEH, EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN OF AKWANGA LGA) TO THE COLD HAND OF DEATH THIS EVENING AFTER A BRIEF ILLNESS, ” said
Mr, Samuel Tsebe, a member of the State House of Assembly.
