It was learned that some estate representatives arrived at the scene and escorted the couple to their home on Close 63 on the estate.

Things took a turn for the worst when the lovers caused injuries on their wrists and necks in an attempt to commit suicide while at their apartment, according to sources.

As they lay in their beds, some people were heard engaging the couple in a video clip.

The residents, who were adamant about reporting the event to the cops, told the couple to get out of bed.

The apartment’s floor of the couple was also stained with blood.

According to reports, the lovers said they would die and rise again after three days.

A message on the door of the couple read,”If you open this door, you will be cursed.”

According to the VGC Chairman Gihan Mbelu, the couple acted under the influence of drugs, adding that he took them to a hospital and discharged them after two days.

“An investigation of their BQ apartment discovered some items, including illegal narcotics and other substances.

“They were clearly under the effect of some kind of drugs.

“Thank God for the management’s and security’s quick responses. The event occurred at 8 p.m. on Saturday.

“Passers-by had already photographed and videotaped the two young people before I arrived. I’m using this platform to warn others about the dangers of drugs,” he said.

However, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, said the incident was not reported to the police.
