The Director-Feneral of the Labour Party’s presidential campaign, Doyin Okupe has announced that Peter Obi is ready to unveil his seven-point platform.
According to Okupe in a post shared on Sunday, Obi will list his seven-point agenda on Monday.
He stated that the document titled: “The Pact with Nigeria” will outline the seven goals that Obi and Datti Baba-Ahmed, his running companion, have for the country’s governance.
According to Okupe, the agenda will usher in “our dream of a new Nigeria.”
Okupe said:
“Tomorrow the 31st of October, the presidential campaign organisation of the LP will release to the media & the public ‘The Pact with Nigeria’, the document that chronicles the seven governance priorities of the Obi-Baba Ahmed administration which will usher in our dream for a new Nigeria.”
This came a day after the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, presented his 80-page manifesto to the pan-Yoruba socio-political organisation, Afenifere.
The presentation was at the residence of its National Leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti, in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
Tinubu also received endorsement from the Afenifere leaders.
