The Independent National Electoral Commissioned has confirmed that the Labour Party won 6 senatorial seats in the tenth assembly.

This is as INEC released the full list of Senators-elect following the conclusion of the February 25 National Assembly elections in Nigeria.

The electoral commission released the list across its official social media handles on Monday night.

The list indicates the full name, gender, and political party of each elected senator expected to be part of the 10th National Assembly.

The list seen by our correspondent shows that the All Progressives Congress (APC) won the most senatorial seats with 57, while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) won 29.

The Labour Party secured six seats as the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and Social Democratic Party (SDP) got two each, while the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and Young Progressive Party (YPP) got one seat each.
