Luis Enrique, the manager of Paris Saint-Germain, offered insights into his team’s victory over Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-final second leg match on Tuesday. He suggested that Ronald Araújo’s red card during the game posed challenges for Barcelona and benefited PSG.
According to Enrique, PSG started the match with incredible momentum, dominating possession against the hosts. Goals from Ousmane Dembele, Vitinha, and Kylian Mbappe secured a 4-1 victory for the visitors.
With this win, PSG progressed to the semi-final stage with a 6-4 aggregate score, having lost 3-2 in the first leg.

“I was very proud. You have to hope for the day that changes everything and it was today. We are very happy,” Erinque said at his post-match interview after the game.
“We started in an unbelievable rhythm, taking control of the ball. The first time they go to our box, they score. For me it was very unfair but we didn’t change the way we play.
“The (red) of Araujo, I didn’t see but it was (then) more difficult for Barca and better for us.”
