A Nigerian man identified as Daniel Regha has described Wizkid’s Made in Lagos album as overrated.
In a tweet on Friday, Regha argued that the album did not in anyway reshape Afrobeat.
He also stated that the hype around the album is only possible because of the excessive PR thrown at it.

He wrote;
Wizkid’s “Made In Lagos” album d!dn’t reshaped Afrobeats, it’s not even among the Top 5 best albums of 2020 & truth be told the album is ¤verrated; Sure, it’s dominating charts & breaking records but that’s due to the excessive PR behind the album which everyone knows. No shades.
