Foremost peace advocate, Comrade Shedrack Agediga (JP) has been crowned Delta’s Peace Ambassador of The Year.
The non-violent practitioner received the gong at the Daily Report Nigeria’s Merit and Honorary Awards, MAHA 2023.
Agediga defeated outgoing Deputy Governor of Delta State, Kingsley Otuaro, Sheriff Mulade and Jerry Abiri to the crown in a keenly contested poll.

Receiving the award on behalf of Agediga, Pastor Tonye Iyelagha described the accolade as a challenge to further serve humanity.

The awards formed a part of the digital newspaper’s third year anniversary and was at recognizing and honouring outstanding impacts of leaders across both public and private sectors in Delta State.
