Ejovwokoghene Favour, the Creative Director of TIPIN Recycle has won Innovator of The Year in Delta State.

Ejovwokoghene was bestowed the honour at the Daily Report Nigeria’s Merit and Honorary Awards, which held on Friday night.

The awards formed a part of the digital newspaper’s third year anniversary.

The ceremony aimed at recognizing and honouring outstanding impacts of leaders across both public and private sectors in Delta State.

The event was also put up to promote outstanding leaders and personalities whose impacts have been felt in the political, social, and economic spheres of the state.

A trained educationist with a deep seated passion for environmental sustainability, Ejovwokoghene has continued to lead the advocacy democratise waste.

 

She is the founder and creative lead of Trash It Properly Nigeria Initiative, otherwise known as TIPIN Recycle.

TIPIN RECYCLE is an innovative business that collect used tyres from the environment, cleans them up and reuse them to make eco-friendly furniture’s for homes and offices.

With her innovative skills, TIPIN Recyce continue to solve the problem of environmental degradation and reduce carbon foot print from the environment by reusing abandoned tyres.

The startup has won several grants with the recent being the winning of a N1.5 million grant from Herconomy Startup Challenge 2023.
