Kenyan Chef Beats Hilda Baci's Cooking Record on GWR

A Kenyan Chef, Maliha Mohammed has beaten Hilda Baci’s record for the Guinness World Record (GWR) longest cooking hours.

Nigerian chef Baci held the official record with 93 hours and 11 minutes.

However, in Mohammed’s feat, she completed a 95-hour cooking marathon, setting a new unofficial record.

She commenced her marathon cooking on August 11, 2023.

The mother of two had previously broken the Guinness World Record in 2019.

She announced her achievement on Instagram, thanking her supporters and boldly proclaiming the “NEW WORLD RECORD.”

Hilda Baci: Chef Dammy Cooks for Over 100 Hours

Sharing the news on Tuesday with a flyer, she said:

@seagasltd Yes, we did it! New world record holder for the longest home kitchen cooking marathon in town Shukran for the support.”

Meanwhile, as of press time, Mohammed’s record was yet to be confirmed by the GWR.
