A 27-year-old man has been arrested after raping a 14-year-old-girl minor in Ogun state.
According to reports from the state command’s spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, the accused, Damilola Orelaja was said to have lured the victim into his apartment at around 8:00 pm on July 22, 2024, while she was returning from errands.

Odutola added that the police force subsequently arrested the accused following the report from the victim’s father.
“The suspect was immediately arrested when the matter was brought to our attention on July 23. He will be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for prosecution,” Odutola said.
