Police operatives have arrested a 28-year-old man for the impregnating a minor.
According to reports, the accused, identified as Ditebogo Frans Gololo, a 28-year-old man was said to have impregnated a 13-year-old girl in Polokwane, Limpopo province, South Africa.
It was gathered that the duo had met at a shopping mall in January, 2024, and got intimate in May, 2024.
The minor however began having some complications and proceeded to tell her aunt of the escapade, a test was conducted and it was discovered she was 8 months pregnant.
The case was subsequently reported to the police, and the suspect was arrested by the Seshego Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit on Thursday, 26 December 2024.

He was subsequently paraded before Seshego Magistrates’ Court on Monday, December 30, 2024, facing charges of statuary r3pe and s3xual grooming of a minor.
The case was however adjourned till 8th of January for hearing, and the suspect remanded in prison.
