Man Arraigned For Beating Up Four Policemen, Tearing Their Uniform in Ogun | Daily Report Nigeria

A man has been arraigned for assaulting four police officers in Ogun State.

The man, identified as Malik Oluwatobi, 32, appeared before Magistrate A.O Adeyemi at Ota Magistrates’ Court in Ogun State, for assault and breach of peace.

Police prosecutor, E.O Adaraloye told the court that Malik fought and tore the uniform of  Adesoye Aduratayo, Sokunbi Seun, Sodiya Ajani, and Oguntoyinbo Femi.

Adaraloye confirmed that the offense was committed on November 6 at about 2:13 pm, under the bridge in Sango-Ota, while the officers performed their duty.

The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge and was granted the sum of N50,000 bail with one surety, which must be within the court jurisdiction and be gainfully employed with evidence of tax payment to the Ogun government.
