The Osun state police has arrested and arraigned a man for threat to life, amongst other crimes.
The accused, Adesoji Babatunde, a 26-year-old was arraigned before an Ile-Ife magistrates’ court on Wednesday for allegedly threatening his mother, Madam Jolaade Awotoye’s life.

While speaking, the prosecution counsel, led my ASP Emmanuel Abdullahi noted that the crime was committed in the Ita-Osa area of Ile-Ife, on Tuesday at about 4pm.
Itbwas gathered that the accused threatened his mother with a bottle for refusing to give him money.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to the two-count charge of breach of peace and threat to life.
Delivering her judgement, the presiding judge, magistrate Abosede Sarumi, after pleas from the defendant counsel granted the defendant bail in the sum of N250,000 with two sureties in like sum and adjourned the case till December 16 for hearing.
