Police operatives in Ondo states have arrested a man for allegedly defiling a ten year old girl.
The suspect, identified as Soji Bakare, popularly known as SOJ, was said to have defiled the girl at Aiyeyemi street in the Isolo area of Akure, the state capital.

According to reports, SOJ allegedly defiled the minor at her parent’s house when her mother went to the market in the community.
The victim’s mother also also said that SOJ was caught in the act, and was handed over to policemen at the A Division Police Station in Akure. She disclosed that her child was taken to a hospital by the police for medical treatment and examination.

Confirming the incident, spokesperson of the state police command, Funmi Odunlami said the case would be immediately transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigations, and the suspect would be charged to court upon completion of the investigations.
