Operatives of the Ebute Ero Police Division have arrested a man identified as Jackson Abraham for being in possession of a stolen vehicle, discovered during a routine surveillance patrol.
The arrest was made after officers on duty spotted a suspiciously driven ash-colored Mitsubishi Space Wagon and promptly intercepted it.
Acting on their instincts and reasonable suspicion, they stopped the vehicle and questioned the driver.

Preliminary findings revealed that the car had been unlawfully removed from a motor park in Ogun State without the knowledge or approval of its rightful owner.
Further investigation revealed that both the suspect and the car owner reside at the same address, raising further concerns about the nature of the incident.
The vehicle, found in good condition, has been secured at the station as inquiries continue. Authorities have since contacted the owner, who had earlier reported the vehicle missing to the Ogun State Police Command and is now assisting with the case.
The suspect remains in custody as arrangements are underway to transfer him and the recovered vehicle to the Ogun State Police Command, which is handling the original case. Police say investigations are ongoing and the case is expected to move forward swiftly.
Two Schoolgirls Rescued From Trafficking Syndicate In Benue
The Benue State Government has successfully rescued two schoolgirls from a suspected human trafficking ring operating in the North Bank area of Makurdi, the state capital.
The operation was led by the Principal Special Assistant to the Governor on Human Trafficking and Child Labour, Hon. Emmanuel Iorhemba Anundu, following a tip-off from members of the local community.
