A mother of two, Augustina Jowho, has been hospitalized after her ex-husband and father of her children, Anthony Edijala (39), struck and spinned her head with an axe following an argument in Ugheli, Delta state.
The suspect had reportedly accused the victim of using diabolic powers to shrink his manhood after they got separated.
The victim was operated surgically and severally after being rushed to the General Hospital, Ugheli, amidst fear of partial paralysis.

Meanwhile, the suspect confessed to the crime and admitted that he and his ex-wife had a misunderstanding which led to their separation, and that his action was a mistake.
The incident had happened when the suspect went on a visit to his ex-wife at her shop in an attempt to see his kids, thereafter which they had an argument with the suspect grabbing an axe in an act of defense and eventually striked the victim.
Further investigations has however commenced as the suspect will be duly prosecuted if found guilty within the law.
