A court sitting in Abia state has sentenced one Chukwunyere Okechukwu Akomas, a 27-year-old man to jail.
Akomas was found guilty on two counts for the rape of two minors, aged 8 and 11.
Disclosing this on Friday night, the Human rights activist and coordinator of Behind Bar Foundation, Abia State chapter, said the suspect was sentenced on the same day, Friday, January 10, 2025.
