A gruesome murder scene has left many in shock, as a man kills his wife following an argument.
According to reports, the argument was said to have been caused by food, which escalated quickly.

Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the incident, which happened on December 16, 2024 saw the accused, identified as Joshua Nwafor, a 40-year-old man kill his wife in Nsokkara, Ezza South Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
According to an eyewitness who spoke with Daily Sun, the couple had been married for 17 years, and the incident abruptly ended it.

The witness added that the man had brought a yam to be cooked for the family, but the wife insisted she wanted a roasted one, which caused a disagreement between them.
The man brought out yam to be cooked for the entire family to eat, and the wife told him that she was not going to eat the cooked one, that she preferred roasted one, and went ahead to roast the yam,”
“As a result, the man got angry and dragged her into the room, locked the door, and beat her till she gave up the ghost.
“I am one of the advocates for walking out of a marriage instead of dying in such a marriage. Life has no duplicate. No matter how old that marriage is, when it becomes life-threatening, please find your way. Leave very fast and never mind what people would say,” the eyewitness added.
The spokesperson of the State Police Command, DSP Joshua Ukandu, condemned the tragic incident.
“This is sad. Let me confirm if it’s being handled by the command, but rest assured that the command will conduct a thorough investigation and charge whoever is found wanting,” he stated.
