Manchester City are eager to secure Erling Haaland with a new contract.
Erling Haaland has thrived in the Premier League, winning back-to-back titles since his £51 million move from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2022. The Norwegian striker still has three years left on his contract.
However, a clause in his deal, which activates this summer, allows him to join any club outside England for £175 million. This buy-out fee will decrease over the next three seasons, according to the UK Mirror.

Additionally, City are bracing for the possibility of manager Pep Guardiola leaving when his current contract expires next summer, potentially ending his nine-year tenure filled with trophies.
