Manchester City have reached an agreement with Leeds United to sign midfielder, Kalvin Philips , in a deal worth an initial £42m .

The contract will see the England International earn £150,000 per week at the Etihad.

Pep Guardiola understands the need to add to the squad depth especially in the midfield following the departure of Fernandinho at the end of last season.

Kalvin Philips is willing to start a new chapter in his career at the City midfield offering enough depth and competition in that area.
