A man has been found dead inside a hotel room at Eleparanwo, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The deceased identified simply identified as ThankGod, reportedly left his home and lodged in the hotel after a fight with his wife.
Staffers at the hotel, told Punch that Mr ThankGod broke a mirror in the room he lodged in, and may have used the mirror to slit his throat.

A member of the hotel said suspicions became rife after his time at the hotel elapsed and nothing was heard from him.
“We went through the back and pushed the air conditioner to see if someone could go inside and open the bolt. In the process, we broke the door open. Everybody, even his family members were here.
“They came in and saw him. He broke our mirror and maybe used it to cut his throat. We saw the mirror in the bath. They (his family) saw everything and started shouting.” the worker said.
Meanwhile, spokesman for the Rivers State Police Command, Nnamdi Omoni, confirmed the incident, saying investigations have already begun.
