A man has been arrested for the alleged gruesome murder of two people for the purpose of money rituals.
According to reports, the accused, identified as Alfa Ahmed reportedly killed his blind grandfather, and uncle in the popular Apete market in Ibadan, Oyo state on Sunday evening.
Some alleged that the purpose of the crime was to use their body parts for rituals.

Further reports from PUNCH Metro shows some eyewitness, who pleaded on condition of anonymity say that;
“the suspect, popularly called Alfa Ahmed in the area, took advantage of his grandfather’s condition because the man was visually impaired, while his uncle too was not feeling fine when the incident occurred.”

Another source said,
“The victims resided in the same place as the suspect at the back of a popular market in Apete when the incident happened around 6.30 pm yesterday (Sunday). And people alerted the police to the unfortunate incident because the whole place was tense.”
Confirming the incident, the police PRO, Adewale Osifeso said;
“An investigation has commenced into the matter. Updates will be provided accordingly, please,”
