A certain man has reportedly killed his wife for failing to prepare him his preferred meal.
The incident happened on December 14 in the Olota area of the Alimosho local government area of Lagos State.
It was said that the yet-to-be-properly-identified man returned home from work that faithful day and discovered that his wife had prepared noodles instead of his favorite meal.
Her brother, who reported the matter to the Meiran Police Division stated that the woman passed away while being rushed to the hospital after the husband assaulted her.

The suspect was apprehended after the deceased’s brother reported the matter to the police.
The police confirmed that the case has now been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti.
The police source said:
“It was the brother of the deceased who came to report the matter. He said the husband killed his sister.
“However, nobody has come forward to tell us that it was her husband who killed her. We have arrested the husband.
“The matter has already been moved to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti.”
The police source added that the family has buried the deceased.
