“Yesterday (Sunday), there was an incident in the community where one Gabriel stabbed a youth named Kopapa Neete to death.

“They are actually cousins. As a community, we have made efforts to formally lodge a complaint to the police at the Bori divisional headquarters.

“We are using this opportunity to call on the Rivers State Government to look into the insecurity in the community, investigate and prosecute the young man who committed this crime,” Gbosi stated.

Attempts to contact the state Police Public Relations Officer, Nnamdi Omoni, were futile because he had not to react to calls and text messages reporting the incident sent to his mobile number.
