  • A man has been arrested for the alleged murder of a sex worker in the state.

  • Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the suspect was said to have committed the crime following an argument on the agreed price.

Operatives of the Delta state Police command have arrested a man, simply identified as Daniel for murder.

The suspect, who was arrested in  Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, was accused of stabbing a sex worker to death.

According to further reports from PUNCH, an eyewitness revealed that Daniel st@bbed the woman after a s3x romp in a brothel, Apple Inn, on Friday night, October 11,2024 after an heated argument on the price of her service.

The witness added that Daniel, who is a regular customer in the motel had refused to pay the agreed price, claiming that the s@x worker denied him ejaculation during the third round of the s@x romp.

 

While the s3xworker was insisting that he must pay the complete amount as agreed, stressing that he was hard on her, the suspect picked a knife, possibly from the s@x worker’s kitchen, st@bbed her and dragged the knife downward. The man was arrested by police officers after a distress call by some residents,” the source said.

The source added that the victim was rushed to the hospital for medical attention.

Confirming the incident, a senior police officer in the Agbor Division of the police said the police force swung into action following a distress call.

He added that by the time the police got to the scene, the suspect had almost gotten lynched by angry mob.

 

Reacting to the incident, the spokesperson of the State Police Command, SP Bright Edafe, said he had called the DPO of Agbor Division, who promised to get back to him on the matter.

“I cannot confirmed it now. I have called the DPO in Agbor, he promised to get back to me but he has not,” he said.
