Despite the severity of the accident, the victim said he came out unhurt.

He expressed his gratitude to God for sparing his life and shared a series of photos of his damaged car, which he explained was beyond repairs.

He said:

I cheated death today. I left Abuja after making sure Apapa Lamidi collect wotowoto at the court. On my way to Lafia-Nasarawa State, I had an accident.

My car is just beyond repair. I thank God I came out alive.”

On Wednesday, there was mild drama and confusion at the Presidential Election Petition Court in Abuja.

Two factions clashed during the resumption of the hearing. The court refused to recognize the Julius Abure and Apapa factions, both of which claimed national leadership of the LP.

During the petition, LP Women Leader, Mrs Dudu Maluga introduced herself as the party’s representative.

In the presence of presidential candidate Peter Obi, Apapa stood up and announced himself as the party’s acting national chairman.
