Sky Sports reports that the race for the signature of Christian Eriksen has now been narrowed to only two clubs, Brentford and Manchester United.

The midfielder’s contract is deemed to have expired at the end of last month and he is yet to make any decision about his future.

Leeds United, Leicester City, and Everton are the other Premier League sides are interested in signing the Danish international.

Manchester United are yet to make an official offer for the services of Christian Eriksen, while Brentford is not in a haste to release the midfielder.

The player’s representatives are considering factors such as; game time, salary package, and comfortability before a deal can be struck.

The 30-year-old joined Brentford on a short-term contract in January, netting a goal and four assists from 11 appearances.

His short-term is widely considered as a successful loan spell.
