After a dominant 3–0 first-leg win in Spain, Manchester United completed the job at Old Trafford with a 4–1 victory, finishing the tie 7–1 on aggregate.

Athletic briefly threatened when Mikel Jauregizar scored a stunning goal in the 31st minute, silencing the home crowd.

But United roared back with a clinical second-half performance.

Mason Mount curled in the equalizer in the 72nd minute.

Casemiro headed in a second from a Bruno Fernandes cross.

Rasmus Hojlund poked home the third.

Mount sealed the win with a sensational long-range effort.

United will face Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final on May 21 at the San Mamés Stadium in Bilbao.

Meanwhile, Chelsea kept their European hopes alive in the UEFA Europa Conference League with a narrow yet important win.

The breakthrough came in the 38th minute, when Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall coolly slotted home the only goal of the match, thanks to a beautifully timed assist from Tyrique George.
