North Korea has reportedly sentenced a man to death for smuggling a copy of Squid Game series into the country.
According to Radio Free Asia, he was arrested by the authorities after a group of high school students were caught watching the series.
It was gathered that the squid game was smuggled into the North Korea via a USB flash drive and the smuggler will be executed by firing squad as It is a crime punishable by death in North Korea to consume media from capitalist countries.

Radio Free Asia report read:
“A student who bought a drive received a life sentence, while six others who watched the show have been sentenced to five years hard labor, and teachers and school administrators have been fired and face banishment to work in remote mines.”
