The hearing into Manchester City’s 115 alleged breaches of Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules will start in September, according to The Times. This date is about two months earlier than initially anticipated.
The hearing has been moved up due to City’s ongoing legal battle with the Premier League, with a verdict expected in the next two weeks.
Manchester City initiated legal action in June, challenging the Associated Party Transaction (APT) rules, which they argue are unlawful and discriminatory. These rules, introduced in 2021, are central to the dispute.
