It also builds on the £65 million-annual deal City struck in 2019.
City Football Group CEO Ferran Soriano celebrated the partnership’s success:
“We joined forces with Puma with the ambition to challenge ourselves and go beyond the expectations. We have achieved this and more over the last six seasons.”
He added that Puma has woven itself into the club’s story, creating “many historic moments” and engaging fans worldwide. Puma CEO Arthur Hoeld agreed:
“Puma’s partnership with Manchester City has been a great success both on and off the pitch. Trophies, a perfect stage for our performance products and commercial success were exceptional.”
This historic agreement comes after City went trophyless for the first time since 2016–17.
Pep Guardiola’s team lost to Crystal Palace in the FA Cup final, finished third in the Premier League, and fell to Al-Hilal in the round of 16 of the Club World Cup.
Despite those setbacks, Manchester City’s commercial strength remains unmatched, confirming their place among football’s most marketable clubs.
All eyes will be on the pitch to see if the revitalised alliance will usher in a new era of success with this new investment.
