Roberto De Fanti, an Italian agent, has disclosed that Manchester United has a strong interest in acquiring Victor Osimhen from Napoli.
Despite keeping an eye on the 25-year-old Nigerian for several years, the Red Devils have yet to initiate any formal negotiations.
De Fanti emphasized in an interview with Tuttomercatoweb that Osimhen fits the mold of the classic No. 9 player that Manchester United is eager to secure.

“I could say everyone, but the truth is that United above all are looking for a centre forward.
“[Rasmus] Hojlund is doing reasonably well, but the classic number No.9 – the [Erling] Haaland of the situation – could be Osimhen,” he said.
Moreover, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea have also expressed interest in the Super Eagles’ forward.
