Manchester United in Talks with Ipswich Town Manager as Potential New Head Coach

Manchester United

Manchester United officials have recently met with Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna’s representatives.

According to Sky Sports News, McKenna met with Manchester United’s new chief executive Omar Berrada and technical director Jason Wilcox last week to discuss the possibility of him taking over the first team.

Chelsea is also interested in McKenna, but United has not yet decided whether to sack current manager Erik ten Hag.

McKenna is on United’s shortlist, which also includes free agents Mauricio Pochettino and former Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel.

If United loses to Manchester City in the FA Cup final at Wembley, they will miss out on European football next season after finishing eighth in the Premier League.
