Manchester United are on the verge of securing their third summer signing, with Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte agreeing to personal terms with the club.

Despite the absence of Champions League football next season, Ugarte is keen on the move to Old Trafford.

Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano tweeted on Thursday night:

“Manchester United have agreed on personal terms with Manuel Ugarte. Contract terms discussed, player keen on moving to United even without Champions League football. Club-to-club talks continue with PSG, as more clubs also inquired. Same agent as Leny Yoro: Jorge Mendes.”

This news comes on the same day United confirmed the signing of Lenny Yoro in a £52 million deal from Lille. Joshua Zirkzee has also joined the club from Bologna.
