Manchester United have compiled a shortlist of midfielders they are considering for this summer, according to Sky Sports. With Casemiro not performing at his best last season and likely heading out of the club, manager Erik ten Hag is keen to add quality to his midfield.
Veteran Christian Eriksen and Scott McTominay’s futures at Manchester United remain uncertain. Ten Hag is particularly interested in finding a solid partner for young Kobbie Mainoo. Paris Saint-Germain’s Manuel Ugarte is a key target, and it’s reported that he is open to moving to Manchester.
The club is also looking at Monaco’s Youssouf Fofana, Real Sociedad’s Martin Zubimendi, and Sander Berge from Burnley. Additionally, United may consider bringing back Sofyan Amrabat, who was on loan at Old Trafford last season from Fiorentina.
