Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo shared his admiration for the club’s former legends Wayne Rooney, Paul Scholes, and Eric Cantona, reminiscing about watching them play during his childhood.

Speaking to the press ahead of England’s friendly match against Brazil, the 18-year-old expressed his appreciation for the trio and his lifelong dream of representing the England national team.

“I loved watching [Wayne] Rooney. Paul Scholes as well and King Eric [Cantona]. It was a bit before my time, but I still appreciate it,” Mainoo said.
