Many Hospitalised As Strange Illness Kills Two In Kogi Community

Many has been reportedly hospitalised after a strange illness hit the Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi state.

Two (2) persons have been also confirmed dead as a result of the strange illness.

Confirming this, a Director in the Local Government, Reuben Oshagbemi, said that the incident was first reported at a clinic.

He noted the symptoms of the strange disease which includes stooling, vomiting and diarrhoea.

He however assured that the situation was under control.

“The state epidemiologists will determine the illness

The commissioner also confirmed the existence of a strange illness in town sharing border with Enugu State, adding that investigation was ongoing to determine what was caused the illness,” he said.
